The Lakers kick off the season without Kobe Bryant against the Clippers tonight.

The rivalry between the two L.A. teams heats up and there's a lot to prove on both sides of the court, especially for Clippers new head coach, Doc Rivers.

Hoopsworld.com senior writer, Eric Pincus, says the Clippers are in favor despite the large Laker following.

Lakers beat writer, Mark Medina also agrees on the challenges facing the Lakers not just tonight, but for the rest of the season.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. tonight. You can watch it on TNT.
