Understanding the way groups of people function—how they define themselves and get along—has been the subject of ethnographic explorations for centuries. This is one such foray.

When an old group of singing chums reunited for an annual gathering in California's wine country, Annenberg Radio News was there to record the process of coming together. For this group, belonging requires raising their voices in harmony, lots of wine and even more penis jokes.
