Max Schwartz spoke with assessor candidate John Morris. He is a head deputy district attorney who claims to have a real estate background. He may not be quick to act on anything that raises taxes, but if elected, he said he would be quick to put new rules into place regarding the assessor and corruption.

The next assessor will have a big job because he will have to repair the images associated with John Noguez, the current assessor, who is awaiting trial for corruption.
