St. John's Well Child and Family Center announced an agreement with SEIU 721 to pay it's service workers at least $15 per hour. Jim Mangia, president and CEO of St. John's, called on businesses across the country to do the same. Mangia said the wage hike comes as St. John's workers are taking care of 40 percent mroe patients than they were a year ago. He says that increase is because more people are receivnig insurance from the Affordable Care Act.
