Several PETA members protested outside the Pasadena Courthouse Thursday, to support Amanda Slyter, who was pleading not-guilty to an infraction of interfering with a special event. The 29-year-old was one of nineteen arrested at the Rose Parade last year for blocking the Sea World float. The float featured three orcas, which PETA believes Sea World harms by keeping in captivity, as was shown in the 2010 documentary “Blackfish”. Slyter’s trial will begin in April.
