Autism is one of the most commonly diagnosed conditions among children, with more children affected by it than juvenile diabetes pediatric cancer and AIDS combined. According to researchers at U-C Davis cases of autism may be misdiagnosed.Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson still remembers the way she felt when she first discovered her son Wyatt had autism. Like Jackson many American parents have faced the same diagnosis, and according to a recent study some of them may faced the wrong one. Researchers warn parents against jumping to the conclusion that their child has been misdiagnosed until further studies have been conducted.
