Mortgage lender company Freddie Mac and the Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County teamed up to host a program they called, Take Root. Neighborhood Housing Services is a non-profit affordable homeownership business in Southern California that provides people with information on buying a home for the first time.Organizers set up a press conference at a three-bedroom open house in Hyde Park to promote their campaign.
