Hundreds of students, teachers, and parents cheered today as Dorsey High School unveiled the first renovation in more than half a century. The new gymnasium was rebuilt from the ground up. The scuffed floors and chipped paint were replaced with the green and white school colors, bleachers, lockers and an atrium overhead. This was an especially powerful moment for Dorsey history, which is one of the lower performing schools in the LA Unified School District. Students and administrators are excited about the state of the art renovation on campus.
