The Center for the Arts Eagle Rock provides unique art experiences usually with a musical performance. One of these performances is a sound bath at the start of each season.

During Monday's sound bath the center celebrated the first day of Autumn. Jamie Ford and Mary Frances Spencer sent out sound vibrations using gongs and singing bowls in order to put the audience into a meditative trance.

Meanwhile people in the audience lied on their mats, some cuddled under their blankets, and tried to relax like at the end of a yoga session.

Spencer says the sound bath is supposed to provide a clensing experience.

The center's next big event will be its street music festival in October.
