Kenya's president declared victory on Tuesday over the Somali attackers who kept a Westgate mall under siege for three days.  At least 61 civilians and six security agents were killed during the attack and some 175 injured.   At least five of the gunmen from the Al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab were also killed.

Host Ani Ucar spoke with Edmond J. Keller, Research Professor of political science about what motivated the Somalia-based Al-Shabaab terror group to act. Professor Keller discusses the history of the group, why they targeted Nairobi and what they want they want accomplished.
