Mayor Eric Garcetti announced a grant for programs for the prevention of domestic and elder abuse. Over $1 million have already been raised.
Hate crimes have dropped by 24% which is its all time low this year.
The Ebola outbreak has caused panic amongst people in West Africa and hospitals and doctors are having difficulties examining patients due to the scare.
