Carrie Poppy

Carrie is the greatest woman to live in any major metropolitan area.

She originally showed her prowess when she won first place in a cake decorating contest in second grade, when she drew a horsie. Ten years later, she went to University of the Pacific to study theatre and philosophy. She also completed the sketch and improv comedy program at the Groundlings Professional School of Improvisation. Carrie co-hosts "Oh No, Ross and Carrie," a podcast about investigations of fringe groups, fringe science, spirituality and the paranormal, all from a scientific standpoint. The show has been celebrated by the Onion's AV Club, Boing Boing, Gizmodo, and more, and is regularly in the top-100 podcasts in the country.

When Carrie isn't making radio or writing investigative journalism, she is petting her dog and using The Secret to get closer to Jonathan Taylor Thomas.
