The Los Angeles Poverty Department, based in downtown L.A.'s Skid Row, creates art inspired by community stories.  The performance group is made of many homeless and formerly homeless residents – including Kevin Michael Key, a former lawyer turned community activist.  Stephanie Case talked to Key about his transition into the world of performance and creating an honest Skid Row narrative.
