Augustus Hawkins High School considers social media

This issue of cyber bullying in schools is seemingly everywhere, but one South L.A. high school wants to change social media into an empowering platform for teens. Ninth graders at Augustus Hawkins High School participated in a program called Community Planit, where through computer games they expressed what was on their minds. The students were also able to win money for the program of their choice within the school.
