Protesters highlight an incompetent Mexican government

The demand for the Mexican government to reveal the actual whereabouts of the 43 missing students has inspired other to express their personal stories of alleged governmental neglect. Along with the protesters for the missing students is Nansi Cisneros who talked about the abduction of her brother a year ago. Cisneros said meaningless kidnappings happen frequently in Mexico.

"You have alot of people that are taken for no reason," Cisneros said. "Kids, pregnant women for no reason,"

Along with Cisneros is the husband of activist Nestora Salgado. Salgado spearheaded drastic and positive changes in her hometown of Olinala. Soldiers abducted Salgado on Aug. 21 2013 and she is currently in a high security detention center, according to the Freedom Socialist Party.

Nationwide protests against the alleged incompetence of the Mexican govermment continue, including a joint demonstration for the missing students and Salgado in Seattle, Washington on Nov. 20th.
