Interview with State Senator and Congressman-Elect Ted Lieu

Max Schwartz spoke with California State Senator for the 28th District and Congressman-elect for the 33rd District Ted Lieu. Most of the questions were for Senator Lieu, but some were on the Congressman-elect side of the line. One, however, was directly on the line for both office - immigration. He supports immigration reform and he is for President Obama taking action on his own. Lieu also believes California is aready dealing with the immigrants who are in the state illegally for that reason - they are here. In additon, he knows that they contribute to the economy.

Lieu has served in local government, in addition to both houses of the state legislature, so he knows the significance of this action.
