Magic Johnson, Oprah could bid for Clippers ownership

An NBA committee held a conference call Thursday to discuss the next steps towards potentially removing Donald Sterling from his role as owner of the Los Angeles Clippers.

An upcoming vote from the NBA's Board of Governors could force Sterling to sell the team.

Many billionaires and public figures have already announced their interest in purchasing the Clippers from Sterling, including Oprah Winfrey, David Geffen and Larry Ellison.  Magic Johnson and the Guggenheim Trust could also vie for ownership.
