Robots haven’t officially taken over the world, at least not yet. But they have taken over the week -- its national robotics week. And they have taken over the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California -- they are having a robotics open house.
The engineering school opened its doors to the community to showcase what the school’s researchers have been working on. They include drones that have cameras and sensors that help it determine its position and humanoid robots that can distinguish between people and objects.
