Cesar Chavez dedicated his life fighting for the rights of farm workers during the '60s.

The film, "Cesar Chavez", directed by Diego Luna, chronicles the life of Chavez; his political efforts and personal life.

Chavez's strikes and boycotts led to the passage of The California Agricultural Labor Relations Act in 1975. The Act protects the rights of farm workers to unionize.

The biopic is the first film in Hollywood to depict Cesar Chavez and will be released tomorrow in theatres everywhere.
