Today is not only Veteran's Day, but also Armistice Day, which commemorates the end of fighting in World War I in 1918.
Dr. Paul Lerner is an Associate Professor of History at USC's Dornsife School and Director of the Max Kade Institute for Austrian-German-Swiss Studies.
He spoke with ARN about the lessons of World War One.
