Jean-Claude Carrière is arguably the most important living screenwriter in European film history. He spoke at USC's School of Cinematic Arts on the eve of receiving an Honorary Academy Award in Screenwriting, only the second ever awarded. Here, he speaks about the process of connecting with audiences of all ages of his beloved creative partner, the late Luis Bunuel.
