Shoppers in downtown Los Angeles were treated to a bohemian craft bonanza Wednesday night. L.A. Live, a hub of retail and entertainment in the heart of the city, hosted a craft fair that featured artisanal and locally-sourced crafts.

The inaugural PopUp Marketplace was thrown by Anschutz Entertainment Group, a company that stages sports and entertainment events around the world.

The event featured a mix of restaurants, artists and restaurants that offered deep discounts on hand-crafted goods.

Over 60 vendors participated in the fair, many of the whom were hoping to boost their profile.

“These are always great opportunities to meet retailers,” said Samantha Santana, owner of textile and print brand Isimo Co.

Santana has made connections with some heavy-hitters in the four months she’s been running her business.

“It’s becoming an income,” she said.
