L.A. County eases voter registration for residents

L.A. county residents can exercise their power to vote by registering online, by mail, or in-person for the upcoming midterm elections. Efrain Escobedo of the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters discusses major efforts by the county to decrease the number of unregistered voters. He also talks about the importance of voting, even though midterm elections recieve much less voter turnout than years with presidential elections, because of the key positions and ballot measures being voted on.
