UC schools offer more bathroom options

The University of California system announced it is changing its policies to include more gender-neutral bathrooms on its 10 campuses. The addition of the bathrooms helps to better accommodate students whose gender identies are not strictly male-female. The University of Southern California already has 15 gender-neutral bathrooms on its campus and has plans for expanding. Karen Tongson and Kelby Harrison explain the need for the bathrooms.
