A memorial service was held for Celes King IV in South LA today.

He was a civil rights activist who was also known as "South LA's Man" because of the hours he spends representing his community while talking to state legislators.

Among the people who attended the memorial service today was King's sister, Teri. She says her brother continued their father's footsteps.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 11 AM at the Angeles Mesa Presbyterian Church.
