In preparation for the rainstorm expected this weekend, the cities of Glendora and Azusa are evacuating residents whose homes are in the path of potential landslides. The Colby Fire burned almost 2,000 acres last month and left the hills surrounding the cities especially vulnerable.

Glendora City Manager Chris Jeffers says the top of the mountains could see as much as eight inches of rain starting tomorrow. Shelter for evacuated residents is available at Crowther Teen Center in Glendora.
