As spring football kicks into gear Gary Paskewietz, a writer for the ESPN Blog We are USC, shares his insight on all things SC Football. He says the biggest challenge this team faces is ignoring distractions.

"We gotta turn the page from last year," Paskeweitz said. "Well, that starts at the top, setting the tone starts from the top. This is the biggest challenge Kiffin faces this season."

The offense will look a lot different this season as Matt Barkley has left for the N-F-L Draft. To fill his shoes, Paskewietz expects a thrilling three-horse race.

"What I hope happens, is that someone distinguishes themsleves," Paskewietz said. "Whether that is Max Wittek, Cody Kessler, or Max Browne. Whether that be in spring or in fall camp."

The Trojans collapsed down the stretch last season losing five out of their last six games. Paskewietz believes the Trojans talented offense can spark the road to recovery.

"There are so many veteran guys coming back," according to Paskewietz. "You still got four of the five on the offensive line coming back. You obviosulty have the Biletnikoff winner and you have a veteran backfield. I look for the offense to come out strong here."

Fans will be able to witness eight public workouts this spring, after not being able to watch any last season. Paskewietz says these fans will have plenty of storylines to keep their eyes on.

"Do we get a little of that toughenss back, do things look crisp on defense with the 52 defense," Paskewietz said. "Progress is what people are looking for, to get back to that Trojan football that we all know."

The Trojans are taking the field as we speak, with exciting action unfolding all the way to the much-anticipated Spring Scrimmage on April 13th.
