Stella is a freshman majoring in communications and political science. This is her first try at journalism and she is excited to contribute to the Arts & Culture segment. A fluent Korean speaker, she dabbles in a bit of French and hopes to pick up some Spanish in the near future. She holds a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has recently picked up running and skateboarding (although she is not very good at any of those three).
She has done extensive volunteering with Alzheimer's patients at her local senior living home and a variety of organizations such as Rotary International, TreePeople, and Operation Gratitude. Originally intending to pursue law, she interned at the Los Angeles Superior Court and worked at a law firm until becoming interested in the field of communications and public relations during her senior year of high school. As a close follower of movie awards season and all of the fashion weeks throughout the year, she'd like to work in fashion or entertainment PR.
