Mikella Nicole Persons Wickham
Mikella Nicole Persons Wickham is a junior at the University of Southern California. Originally from Owings Mills, Maryland, she is a broadcast journalism major with a minor in film. Mikella's interest in journalism began with her internships at local TV stations in Baltimore, Maryland (WMAR-TV Channel 2 News; WBAL-TV). At these internships, she learned the skills of pitching stories, reporting, logging interviews, anchoring and producing a half-hour newscast made by and for high school students. Mikella has studied both the art and industry of film, including business aspects, critical studies and screenwriting for film and TV. She is thrilled to combine this passion for arts, entertainment and technology with her radio reporting at ARN. Mikella is also in her third year interning with Comcast/NBCUniversal in marketing/communications and is an Emma Bowen Foundation Scholar. Mikella is excited to be a part of the ARN team!
