Charlie Magovern

Charlie Magovern is in his second year studying journalism in USC's M.A. program. His journalism career started at Allegheny College, where he was the sports editor because no one else wanted to do it.

If you've heard of Allegheny College, then you're definitely on his good side.

He loves sports nearly as much as talking about himself in the third person, and has held internships at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Associated Press in London.

Charlie writes stories if you ask nicely, but prefers photography and hosting radio shows to transcribing interviews and the inverted pyramid.

In his free time, there's a good chance you'll see him beating Andy Vasoyan in ping pong or lifting much less weight than Sean Burch at the gym.

The typical conversation with Charlie usually includes: a story about his hometown of Pittsburgh, a story about being a ski instructor in Colorado and why you should listen to the best podcast in the world, Uhh Yeah Dude.

You can follow him on Twitter here

For questions, comments, concerns about the show or life, don't be afraid to shoot him an email.

That's his mom in his picture.
