Neil Donovan of the National Coalition for the Homeless talks to Annenberg Radio host Megan McCarty about counting the homeless in the 2010 census. He explains why this year’s census should include an accurate count of homeless Americans. Los Angeles has the nation's largest homeless population, which is spread out over a large geographical area. That makes counting the homeless a nightmare. The Los Angeles census organization wants to offer the homeless socks as an incentive to be counted. Megan asks Neil why it's so important that the plan succeed.
