University of California Reaches Deal to Reopen Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital

Board of Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas and supporters celebrate in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital, following news that the University of California has reached a deal with the County to re-open the center. Under the plan, the hospital will construct 120 beds and an emergency center by 2012.
