The United Teachers Los Angeles has waged an aggressive campaign to make sure LAUSD teachers keep their jobs. They held a news conference before the Board of Education's meeting today to say that they are still fighting for their jobs. About 1,500 teachers still face the possibility of getting the axe and UTLA is determined to stop it.
