Serena Josel Discusses The Controversial Stupak Amendment

The health care bill that was passed through the House of Representatives includes an amendment that’s causing some controversy. The amendment, which is more commonly known as The Stupak Amendment, would prevent any plans in the proposed health care bill from receiving federal subsidies if they cover abortion. I had a chance to talk to Serena Josel, the associate director of public affairs, at Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles about the amendment and the potential impact it will have on women, if it is included in the final bill.
