Racial profiling allegations against L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies

Students from L.A. Trade Tech College filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department today. The lawsuit stems from a racial profiling incident where 33 African Americans were detained during an investigation. A report done by the Los Angeles Community College District found the sheriff had little or no cause to detain the students. The Sheriff's Office of Independent Review is finishing its report on the incident. It's expected to be released later this month.
