Mayor Villairagosa and his colleagues from the city aligned with volunteers and a Loyola Marymount University student group from the "One Campaign" to support a health and poverty initiative.
The mayor declared that LA was now part of the "One" campaign to fight against global poverty along with 136 other cities.
