President Obama has promised more affordable health care options. The consumer advocacy group Consumer Watchdog believes that one way to accomplish this is to make Medicare accessible to everyone. They have released a poll done by a marketing group in which 64% of those surveyed said they would be in favor of giving everyone the option of going to Medicare for their health insurance. Jerry Flanagan, Consumer Watchdog's health care policy director argues that expanding Medicare would make health insurance more affordable for everyone.
