Los Angeles' first bike count

Councilman Bill Rosendahl addressed bikers today during the first-ever bike count in Los Angeles. Members of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition gathered to count cyclists and pedestrians in order to assess how to improve transit infrastructure and make it safer. Rosendahl said that the count will insure stimulus funds from Washington, and the improvements can be expected to be implemented within a year.
