Chairwoman Lynn Haueter of the Los Angeles County Republican Party and many others believe Governor Romney out-performed President Obama in Wednesday's Presidential debate in Denver, Colorado. However, Chairman Eric Bauman of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party thought that the President, "...acquitted himself very well last night." He also mentioned that the President did not use zingers or humor. The economy took up three-fifths of yesterday's debate, and the middle class was a major topic throughout the economic segments. Republicans, including Chairwoman Haueter, believe small businesses make up a large portion of the economy. The Democrats, including Chairman Bauman, have a different point of view. The Vice Presidential candidates will take to the podium on October 11, 2012, for their debate and the Presidential candidates will have their second debate on October 16, 2012.
