LAUSD Board of Education considers plan for layoffs amid more protests

The Los Angeles Unified School District's board, in a closed session today, met to discuss a plan that would cut more than 8,000 LAUSD teachers and staff. The closed doors did not stop opponents of the plan from making their voices heard.
