Key healthcare provisions take effect

Among the provisions, insurers can no longer deny benefits to children with preexisting conditions or drop patients with new illnesses. Also, the piece of legislation allows young adults up to age 26 to remain on their parent's health insurance plans. We share a story about a young man who will benefit from the change.
