For nearly 18 years, more than 100,000 inner-city children in Los Angeles have been immersed in the arts -- all through a non-profit education center called Inner-City Arts.
It was developed after arts programs were eliminated from the city's public schools, beginning in the late 1970s.
Located in the despair of Skid Row, Inner-City Arts is an oasis for these impoverished kids.
