The Chief Executive Office of the LA County Board of Supervisors, William Fujioka, proposed a hiring freeze for most LA County departments. The hiring freeze would apply to all departments except medical and emergency services. The proposal was unanimously passed by the Board of Supervisors, and they will make additional changes to the proposal in the next few meetings.
