Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger joined nervous Staple Center officials atop the Staples Center to ceremoniously install the last of 1727 solar panels. The 345 kilowatt system covers 24,000 feet, including new panels on the Nokia Theater. The system will offset 10,000 tons of CO2 in the next 25 years as well as 60 tons of dangerous pollutants like Sulfur dioxide.
