As we head towards the March 8th election, Annenberg Radio News and Intersections South LA will be airing coverage of the candidates running for office in Los Angeles City Council, as well as issues on the ballot.

Today we feature Gavin Glynn, a write-in candidate for the Green Party who's running for a seat in the LA City Council for District 10. To campaign, Glynn has promised to remain completely green and uses only the internet and other paperless forms of broadcasting to get the word out about his hopes to transform what he calls, "the heart of Los Angeles." ARN host Sarah Erickson spoke with Glynn about what made him decide to run for office, and how he thinks he can improve his community if elected.
