Recently, California retailers have been breaking these laws, and they have been caught selling jewelry with excessive amounts of lead. On Thursday, a free jewelry screening at Nahui Ohlin, an Echo Park boutique, gave the public a chance to protect themselves and learn more about the truth of lead.
