State grant brings makeover to Figueroa Corridor

Figueroa Street is the congested route connecting Exposition Park and downtown Los Angeles. But now, with a $20 million state grant, the corridor may become a community. The Community Redevelopment Agency in Los Angeles will try to bring some attractions to the area, like new shops and bicycle lanes. Residents will provide input on how the area can be improved.
