The Exposition Rail Line project was sidelined when the California Public Utilities Commission authorized Harvard Boulevard, but refused to authorize Farmdale Avenue, for railway construction. The Harvard Avenue railway will be on top of a pedestrian tunnel. Community activists are trying to stop the construction of the Farmdale Avenue stop because the railway would be unsafe for students next to Dorsey High School. The PUC proposed building a pedestrian bridge next to the high school as a solution. Samantha Bricker, the Chief Operating Officer for the Exposition Construction Authority, comments on the issue.
