DWP to cut $440 million in operating costs, will not layoff workers

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced Tuesday a new budget plan that will eliminate $370 million of its labor and operating costs and $70 million of capital costs. General Manager Ron Nichols and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa spoke at a press conference about the details of the plan. Reporter Elizabeth Warden attended to see how this proposal will affect Los Angeles and DWP workers. Listen for more.
