Tesla Motors is looking for a facility where its next line of electric cars will be made. One of the sites being considered is the former 80 acre NASA plant in Downey, which could bring thousands of jobs to this East Los Angeles community. Downey Mayor Mario Guerra is making moves to secure a lease between Tesla and the private company that owns the site.
